We are very excited to announce that work has commenced onsite for the Centre for Integrated Semiconductor Materials (CISM). The 6000sqm building, with enabling works involving our contractor Kier Construction, will house research labs and office space that will work to bring together semiconductor and advanced materials platforms and processes to deliver new technology and products. These technologies and products include but are not limited to blue-sky research, applied R&TD, prototyping and process development, specialist services, incubation, engagement, training and access to the UK and EU innovation grants portfolio.
Kier Construction has been setting up onsite for the project’s preparatory works including excavation of the site, which has begun in order to create a piling mat. The piling itself will commence on 5 October 2020 for a period of about four weeks.
